ACORN: THE BRIEF
Creating a beautiful, intuitive, and highly usable website that also clearly tells a company's story is a challenge we take on every day. We were beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to take on this challenge with Acorn. The process began with a series of casual meetings and conversations, which gave us a glimpse into the history of the company as well as their rapid growth and the direction they were headed. These conversations are an invaluable part of our process designing a custom web solution.
From there, we began to iterate how the brand could visually evolve from a color, style, and image standpoint. Concepts for mobile, tablet, and desktop experiences were created and reviewed with the client. The final product was the result of close collaboration, communication, and problem solving to ensure we delivered a tool that solved problems rather than just looking new.
MOBILE EXPERIENCE
Acorn had a lot of information that was important to communicate, as well as a high percentage of mobile traffic. Our responsive design approach produces a user interaction that allows people to access information quickly and with minimal amounts of scrolling. To do this, we made use of swipe-able content and intelligent content reduction as the website scales down to smaller screens.
DESKTOP EXPERIENCE
Desktop browsing may no longer be the primary way your website is viewed, however, it is still a vitally important experience for a lot of users. For Acorn, it was important to provide a beautiful, branded experience that gave users quick and easy access to the services they offer as well as case studies showing their proven track record and results for their clients.
