PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Walmart's third-party self-checkout system was aging and the user experience was frustrating at best. Charged with the task of dramatically streamlining the self-checkout process for shoppers, we started completely from scratch to redesign the entire user interface from the ground up. Removing unnecessary steps, streamlining processes, and eliminating confusion for shoppers resulted in a much faster checkout and a smile on shoppers' faces. This new interface rolled out to Walmart Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets in 2017.
