Leisurlist is a web and mobile app that tracks and curates everything to do in Northwest Arkansas. We were tasked with naming and creating the full brand identity as well as designing and creating the web and mobile apps. Signing up for an account is not required, but having an account allows you to select the types of things you are interested in and receive alerts for events you've favorited. See, save, and share your favorite places and events and never be out of the NWA loop again!

CREATING LEISURLIST

We had the privilege of working on Leisurlist before Leisurlist was even a thing. At the start, it was just an idea: To provide the community with an easy way to stay up to date on literally everything happening across Northwest Arkansas.

After many ideation meetings, creative briefs, and naming sessions, Leisurlist was the chosen path forward.

A MIRRORED App & Web EXPERIENCE

From the very beginning, we knew we needed to have a seamless experience across all mediums. Web, app, email, and social all had to be cohesive and consistent for users. Our design and development teams accomplished this by working closely together to ensure that the user would be able to switch between web and app without missing anything.

BRANDING & IDENTITY

Once the name had been chosen, we shifted our focus to the brand. Our mandate was to create a young, fun brand identity that conveyed the actions and use of the app.

Likes, hearts, checklists, and way-finding all played crucial roles in the brand development. The brand evokes feelings of actions and experiences that users will love.

COMMUNICATING WITH COLOR

We wanted a vibrant palette with many colors that could help communicate the events, venues, and articles that make up the app and web presence. These colors give us lots of creative ways to create collateral that strikes the appropriate mood for users.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Great photography is a huge part of any brand identity. And, in this case, we needed great photography that capture the essence of Northwest Arkansas. From food to nightlife, yoga to hiking, and coffee to co-working, we needed to photograph everything that makes Northwest Arkansas unique.

After two weeks of shooting and another two of editing, we were able to provide Leisurlist with a bank of great photos that they can use across all of their outlets.
